As you’re listening, this cool, steady track will pulsate around your system, eventually taking over your body, preparing for that sweet chorus of danceable rhythms and stand-out line, “Do you wanna get serious? / So I can feel this good forever / Let me cry your name / Are you going to treat me right?” The song walks the line between head-over-heels lust and the anxiety that holds you back for fear of being hurt, most likely not for the first time. The video is a perfectly in-sync companion to ‘Serious’, as Moss tells us: “The concept of the song is about that feeling you get when you first meet someone that you don’t want to fade away. We got a number of friends in as extras for the video to create a visual metaphor of that feeling when even though you’re in a room full of people, the person you’re with makes you feel like you’re the only two in there. That’s why as soon as they touch everyone else disappears."
